Following the divestiture from Intel Security in 2016 McAfee was in need of a rebrand. With a completely evolved brand identity and a new positioning strategy around the concept of “together is power” this rebrand allowed us to catapult the company into the new era of cybersecurity, one where companies compete with one another by working together to better fight cybercrime.

The new shield icon serves as an embracing element around the devices and people and, along with the touches of red, aims to deliver the idea that McAfee’s cybersecurity is omnipresent to protect what matters most.

The work generated from this rebrand allowed us to deliver an entirely new website experience for both businesses and consumers, extensive new brand guidelines, several video assets (both live-action and animation based), a comprehensive set of collateral assets, new packaging designs for a number of consumer products, and a brand new design language that the company can leverage for any experiential activations.
